Vulnerability Researcher

Overview

This role focuses on discovering and analyzing security weaknesses in systems. The team conducts cutting-edge vulnerability research and exploit development to strengthen cybersecurity defenses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify vulnerabilities across software, operating systems, and hardware
  • Create proof-of-concept exploits
  • Analyze existing weaknesses and security flaws
  • Integrate findings into exploitation frameworks
  • Partner with development teams on security improvements
  • Document and present research findings
  • Monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities
  • Contribute to threat intelligence initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
  • 5+ years in vulnerability research or offensive security
  • Strong grasp of software and system security fundamentals
  • Coding proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Assembly
  • Reverse engineering and binary analysis expertise
  • Familiarity with vulnerability categories and debugging tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in relevant field
  • Published research or CVE credits
  • Zero-day and exploit development background
  • Mobile or hardware security knowledge
  • Conference speaking experience

Security Clearance

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level or above is mandatory.
